Career Forum...
Hello everyone! This is a very exciting day! And it has just started!
Well, it wasn't my fault that i didn't update earl;ier! It wasn't like i didn't have anything to write but my brother needed the comp so i had to go along and refrain from using it! Actually, i didn't have a choice as he was sitting in front of the screen! lol
Anyways, let me think about the new stuff!
Okies!
First the career forum day was on Thrusday and i went there! I woke up on 6 o'clock, recited the handy interview phrases to make a good impression and got at uni at 9 o'clock! I found my friends all eager to be interviewed by company representatives , so the stress was decreasing gradually! It was the first contact with companies so it was nice as an experience! And we need the experience! lol
But we were outside the gym standing and it wasn't till half-past ten that they let us in! The fact that some company representatives had not come was a major mood-spoiler as i wanted to be interviewed by some!
Well anyways it is not that with over 100 persons you can have the time to be interviewed by every company you want! I only had six or seven interviews! The first four were ok! The people were nice and very relaxed because it was unofficial, informal so it was ok! Then again informal my ass, cos they all asked us to dress up and use make-up. mascara and the whole package! and grrr! Mascara makes my eyes hurt! And i had this huge pimple that popped up in the middle of my chin just because i was anxious! lol
But i covered it with make-up so it didn't show much!
The previous day it ws the mock interviews day which i missed!
There was a friend that carried the spirit to me though! She went thenre and she wasn't very much of the make-up thing so they told her to use more make up and generally thre were kinda nasty! Whereas another girl who was pretty and used make-up and stuff was told: And i am quoting this so pay attention!
"You are a doll and with that smile of yours you will be certainly given a chance!"
Now, what the heck? So, if you are pretty you are sure to find work?
I am never gonna find work! lol
No i am kidding! I am cute but i wouldn't call myself very pretty!
