I guess you have all had a bad dream!Something you "experienced in your sleep and after waking up couldn't sleep well for days! Most of the times it happens when we are very young but what if you see a bad dream when you are older? and what if it persists? s your subconscious trying to tell you something?

I remember one of the first bad dreams i had! I think i was in grade school! I saw my father working in a ship with the mechanical stuff ( weird cos my father was working for the telephone company)and then something happened and the ship started sinking! I remember my heart was pounding in my chest and i woke up crying and yelling! My mothercame to the room and asked me what was the wrong! I tried to speak but the only thing i could say : Dad! Dad! He is dead?"
My mom was a bit scared cos she had never seen me like that so she tried to make me feel better! She kep saying, "NO, daddy is fine!" But i kept crying so she went to their bedroom and woke him up so i could see he was ok! Come to think of it now it was funny! My father stood up and started walking with that sleepy look on his face and when i saw him i started crying even harder because i was happy and he was like " what is wrong?"

I have seen several bad dreans now that i am older too! But i have been having a dream for some years now! not all the time just from time to time! It is recurring! I am with friends on a rock like those green rocks in the highlands of Scotland! you know those beautiful landscapes! We are happy and then i start walking towards the edge! My friends don't notice that!
So it's like i watch myself walking toward the edge and i am thinking " I shouldn't go there! I might fall" Cos you know how these rocks are! But i keep going there and when i am on the edge, i look down and i start falling! I don't know if i jump or i slip but i knew it was going to happen and kept walking towards it!
It is really scary! I feel the pull of the fall and i wake up having this feeling and thinking: " doesn't anyone see me?"
My friends say it means i fear failure but i think it is more than that!
Anyone else had a recurring dream?Or can explain that?
